The shadows of concrete curbs at sunset. #315002135
Description
A concrete curb is a short wall installed to hold the pavement from the sides and act as a barrier between the yard and the street. It is often constructed in conjunction with a gutter. A flat concrete slab drains water away from the yard. A curb, or kerb , is the edge where a raised sidewalk or road median central reservation meets a street or other roadway. A concrete curb may be constructed by setting forms by hand, filling them, letting them set up, and then removing the forms. Curbs are in some places painted to increase visibility or mark a special street side.
