Description
Dietes bicolor is a perennial herbaceous plant with sword shaped light green leaves. Originating from South Africa in Africa. The leather sword shaped leaves are slender. Blossoming in spring and summer, the petals are creamy to yellow in color, with three dark purple spots, each edge surrounded by an orange outline, and below is the capsule. When the seeds mature, the capsule dries and splits. There are chocolate colored spots at the base, which serve as honeybees for insects and can attract pollination. Flowers only have a lifespan of one day, but they bloom and wither continuously.
