Each April Lake Havasu City, Arizona, is host to The Desert Storm Performance Boating Event, a week long event featuring a boat show, demo rides, street party, poker run, shoot out, and more. There's only one time of the year that Lake Havasu sees boats transported sideways on trailers, and it's an interesting sight to see, as many of the boats are on display during the street party held on Lake Havasu City's mainstreet.
