Young Fox Kit Discovers The World Outside The Den Stock Image

A vixen in my neighborhood gave birth to 5 kits, or cubs. They are seen enjoying a warm spring morning outside the den, which is concealed behind the soil she has piled up. This is the second year she used this den, but has now moved on to a quieter spot in the surrounding forest area. One of the kits peers over the mound that conceeals the den, amazed at the sight of the world outside.
