This former grain warehouse located at 72 Townsend Street in San Francisco was built by John Hooper in 1874 at a time when California wheat, a type known as 'California Gold', was being shipped all over Europe and beyond. Having survived the 1906 Earthquake fully intact, today it is used as retail businesses. As seen 1 May 2024.
