The so-called Blue full moon taken on the 30th August 2023 from Johannesburg at 19h: 42. There were two full moons in August, hence the name Blue Moon. Other names for this phenomenon in North America are Corn Moon and Sturgeon Moon. In astrology this Blue Moon occurred when the moon was closely aligned with Saturn in Pisces and was professed to bring about feelings of enchantment and good luck. It was super bright, the lines, valleys and areas of impact from meteors highly visible.
