Ponte Fabricio, Tiber Island, Rome, Italy #318342273
Description
The Ponte Fabricio, also known as the Bridge of the Four Heads or Pons Judaeorum, spans the Tiber River in Rome. It is one of the two bridges in the city that do not directly connect the river's opposite banks. Instead, similar to the adjacent Cestius Bridge, it links Tiber Island to the left bank at Lungotevere De' Cenci. Remarkably well-preserved, it is the oldest bridge in the capital that maintains its original structure.
