Description
In the thirteenth century, Beaune goes under the tutelage of the Dukes of Burgundy, today the center of Beaune can see the fortifications form a walkway 2 km. The walls and towers built between the twelfth and fifteenth century, following three consecutive campaigns constructions annexation of Burgundy in France by Louis XI (1423-1483). The death in 1477 of Charles the Bold, last Duke of Burgundy, Beaune integrates force the kingdom of France.
