Description
When the Andromeda Saloon opened here in 1907 it was at the heart of what became known as The Barbary Coast of San Francisco. To survive Prohibition, it changed the name to Andromeda Cafe and served seafood with disguised cocktails. In 1985 it was purchased by brewer Allen Paul and became San Francisco Brewing Company, who held it until 2009 when he closed it, and it was reopened the following year as the Comstock Saloon, which has remained. So has the original interior remained. Food. Drink. Fun. As seen 5 June 2024.
