Pictured is an African bush elephant and calf and a male impala on the beach near the Chobe River in the Chobe National Park in Botswana, Africa. The calf is playfully rolling around on the ground. The impala is walking toward the river for a drink of water. The animals were photographed from a safari boat stationed at the historic Chobe Game Lodge. The binomial name of the elephant is Loxodonta africana and the impala Aepyceros melampus.
