Description
Pictured is a yellow-billed stork, binomial name Mycteria ibis, hunting along the edge of the Chobe River in Chobe National Park in Botswana, Africa. This stork's diet mainly comprises small, freshwater fish which they swallow whole. They also feed on crustaceans, worms, aquatic insects, frogs and occasionally small mammals and birds. The stork was photographed from a safari boat stationed at the historic Chobe Game Lodge.
