Veteran and iconic film and television actor Donald Sutherland, then 67, and wife Francine Racette arrive in Lower Manhattan on May 11, 2003, for the premiere of "The Italian Job" at the 2nd Annual Tribeca Film Festival. The Canadian actor's career stretched 6 decades, and he appeared in nearly 200 films and television productions. His breakout role was of Hawkeye Pierce in M*A*S*H in 1970. He won 2 Golden Globe Awards and a Primetime Emmy. Although surprisingly never nominated for an Academy Award, he was the recipient of an Honorary Oscar in 2017. Sutherland passed away on June 20, 2024, in Miami, Florida, after a long illness, at the age of 88.
