Silver Spotted Skipper Butterfly Royalty-Free Stock Photography

The silver spotted skipper butterfly, Epargyreus clarus, is easily recognized by a large white spot under the rear wings which is visible when it sits with its wings up in the characteristic pose of skipper butterflies. It is found throughout most of the United States. It is one of the largest of the skippers.
