The drama, which had moments of great hilarity, takes place as a dysfunctional family gathers on the occasion of their father's passing in his Arkansas home. Famed theaatrical producer, director, and playwright David Belasco built the building which opened in 1908 as the Stuyvesant Theatre and changed its name to the Belasco Theatre in 1910.
