Drystack rock wall terrace with curved wood bench at Newman Overlook Cornell Botanical Gardens #327695463
Description
Newman Overlook, one of the highest points on Cornellâs campus. A popular destination for all visitors, it provides a birdâs-eye view of both the arboretum and beyond. Here you can really appreciate the bowl-shaped landscape of the arboretum, which was carved by Fall Creekâs waters beginning over 10,000 years ago during the glacier period. Decades ago, the CCC did much of the stonework throughout the gardens.
