Seven Swiss cows rest in a row, on a grassy slope above the Lake Bachalpsee, off the trails of First, located above the village of Grindelwald. The iconic Swiss cow, with its ringing bell, dot the beautiful high alpine landscape of the slopes of First and Bachalpsee. They are found there usually during the short summer weeks, grazing in the world's most spectacular cow pasture. What cow wouldn't want to be there? There are plenty of hiking trails here with views of the Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn, and Eiger. Lake Bachalpsee is located in the Berner Oberland of the Swiss Alps, in beautiful Switzerland.
