The golden leaves of autumn and flowing creek waters surround Glade Creek Grist Mill, located in Babcock State Park, West Virginia. The mill is a combination of three mills that located in West Virginia. Glade Creek Grist Mill stands on the location of the original Cooper's Mill, but was constructed using parts from Stoney Creek Grist Mill, Spring Run Grist Mill, and the Onego Grist Mill which was located near Seneca Rocks, in Pendleton County, West Virginia. Glade Creek Grist Mill still grinds fresh cornmeal which can be purchased in the gift shop. This mill is especially beautiful in the autumn where the many trees there change to colors that make this scene more like a painting. Its worth a visit while in West Virginia.
