Danish architecture buildings in the center of Copenhagen,Denmark,Scandinavia #328962281
Description
The architecture of Denmark has its origins in the Viking period, richly revealed by archaeological finds. It was strongly established in the Middle Ages, first with Romanesque art, then with Gothic cathedrals and churches scattered throughout the country. Denmark was a country with little access to stone, so ceramic brick became the main material for construction, not only for churches, but also for fortifications and castles.
