The hand of Fatima, also called the hand of Alo or khamsa is a typical amulet of the Middle East, but now widespread throughout the world. This symbol belongs to both the Jewish and Islamic religions. For Judaism, this symbol represents the hand of Miriam, sister of Moses and Aaron and its five fingers represent the books of the Torah.
