La Porxada Building Of Granollers Stock Photo

La Porxada is the most emblematic building of Granollers, the capital of the Valles Oriental region of Catalonia in northeastern Spain. It was originally conceived as a grain storehouse in 1587 and consists of 15 pillars of tuscan style. It was badly damaged in 1938 during the civil war but soon rebuild. In the year 2006 the catalan autonomous government declared it a cultural value of national interest.
