Description
The monument, which was erected in 1937, a hundred years after the death of the great Russian poet. The obelisk at the site of the duel of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin is located in St. Petersburg at the address: Kolomyazhsky Prospekt, 10.The monument was erected in the year of the centenary of the poet's death. Its architects were Abram Lapirov and Evgeny Katonin, and the creator of the basârelief was Matvey Manizer.There is a green square on the site of Pushkin's duel, in which stands an obelisk with a portrait of the poet and an inscription: "The place of A.S. Pushkin's duel 26 V-1799 â 29 I-1837".
