Description
A museum dedicated to the literary trends of the early 20th century: symbolism, acmeism, avant-garde and futurism. The institution was founded in 1999 as a branch of the State Literary Museum. It is located in the mansion of merchant Ivan Baev, designed by architect Vladimir Chagin in the Northern Art Nouveau style. From 1910 to 1924, the writer and poet Valery Bryusov lived in this building, whose memorial office is the basis of the exposition.
