Visitors to Muir Woods National Monument #33071358
Description
Visitors check out the giant Redwoods near the park entrance of Muir Woods National Monument. These Giant Coastal Redwood trees, one of two species of Sequoias, are in one of the last few groves of coastal redwoods, preserved by President Teddy Roosevelt in 1908 as part of the John Muir National Monument, and site of the first ever meeting of the United Nations, now one of the jewels of the National Park Service.
