Prasat Nakhon Luang, Ayutthaya Situated on the east bank of Pa Sak River, Tambon Nakhon Luang, it was used as the royal accommodation during trips to the Buddha's Footprint Shrine and Lopburi. It is assumed to have been constructed during the reign of King Songtham, but was improved to be a brick and plaster accommodation during the reign of King Prasat Thong. The district was originally part of Nakhon Luang Noi district (now named Bang Pahan), and was established as a separate district in 1895.
