Description
Pictured is a historical marker in loving memory of the men of Buncombe County who died in the Spanish-American War, the Philippines Insurrection, and the China Expedition between 1898 and 1902. The memorial consists of an unadorned rectangular bronze plaque attached to a rough cut stone embedded in the ground and standing several feet tall. It was dedicated November 12th, 1939 and stands beside the Buncombe County Courthouse in Asheville, North Carolina.
