Pictured is the back entrance view of the Western North Carolina Veterans Memorial in in Asheville, North Carolina. There are seals for each of the six branches of the military, each attached to one of six upright slabs. The inside pillars of the entrance have bronze reliefs with busts representing each branch of the military. The seal of the United States is in the center above the entrance opening. A woman sits on a bench. The memorial sits on a circular concrete public space on Roger McGuire Green, at the northeast corner of Pack Square Park. This memorial to the veterans of multiple wars was dedicated November 11th, 2009. A nonprofit group behind the project gifted the memorial to Asheville during a Memorial Day ceremony in 2011. The creator was sculptor Jodi Hollinagel-Jubran.
