It was an opportunity to recall that the institution enjoys a distinguished prestige in both Romanian and international musical life, with its first director being the professor and conductor Emil Bâclea. The "Dinu Lipatti" Music High School has shaped illustrious artistic careers, including those of Ileana Cotruba?, Dan Iord?chescu, Gheorghe Cr?snaru, Angela Gheorghiu, Gheorghe Zamfir, Mihaela Martin, Liliana Ciulei, and Marin Cazacu. Many of its graduates are active in major national and international orchestras. The outstanding results achieved by the school's students in national and international competitions reflect the quality of the education provided by this prestigious institution, with renowned teachers, where the next generation of accomplished names in the musical world continues to be formed.In 2008, the "Dinu Lipatti" Music High School, in partnership with the European College of Music, the East-European Center for Arts, and the National University of Music Bucharest, under the high patronage of the President of Romania, initiated the first edition of the "Little Paris" International Festival, aimed at enhancing the echo of a national cultural tradition within the European context. The anniversary celebration marks this history and, above all, the future of Romanian music.
