â¹]) is one of the central provinces (changwat) of Thailand. The name means golden bowl which refer to Angthong as a central for prosperity as it has a lot of rice fields. The neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise) Sing Buri, Lopburi, Ayutthaya and Suphanburi. It is luxurious of native handicraft like, moulded court dolls, firebrick, and wickerwork. In Ang Thong, there are more than 200 magnificent and interesting temples, appropriate for Thai chronological study.
