Lotus leaves in Dongchang Lake #332259549
Description
Dongchang Lake, formerly known as Huancheng Lake and Fengcheng Lake, is located in Dongchangfu District, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province. With a total area of 4.2 square kilometers, it is slightly smaller than the West Lake in Hangzhou and is a rare artificial lake in northern China. The lake is a moat formed during the excavation and construction of the city in the Song Dynasty. Later, water from the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal and the Yellow River was replenished, forming a stable lake surface. In summer, lotus leaves stretch as far as the eye can see.
