Resplendent Raccoons Royalty-Free Stock Photo

These two wonderful raccoons were educational ambassadors of their species at a wildlife rehabilitation center that I volunteered at for 10 years. This picture was taken a long time ago, with a less than stellar camera, so it is not the best quality, but what it lacks in quality, I believe it makes up in heart and soul. These two long-time friends have since passed on, but I still have this one precious keepsake photo of them. It was a 'Hail Mary' shot. I had just finished cleaning out their cage as well as feeding all the other educational animals and came back to check on the raccoons. We were not allowed in their cage if they were inside, so I held the small Nikon camera that I had over my head, aimed through the cage bars and took this photo. Thank you my furry friends....
