Description
The sacred scarab or dung beetle is a sacred insect for the Egyptian religion. The Egyptian amulet with its features, called Kheperer, had a powerful magical and apotropaic function indicating a perpetual rebirth and transformation. It ensured the arrival of happy events and the improvement of intuition and spirituality. In Egyptian funerary art, moreover, the scarab was an amulet placed above the heart of the deceased that ensured the passage to the afterlife as it was capable of defeating Apophis and all the dangers that the soul of the deceased had to face. In this image, it is placed at the center of a stylized black cloud. This illustration can be used in all projects that involve this animal and can be used as a logo, decoration for any object or gadget, but also as a tattoo.
