Vintage wringer washing machines saved a lot of water #337420734
Description
Wringer washers are all about minimalism. They require a minimum of time, using a minimum of water and detergent, making the laundry process greener and more sustainable. The washer's rollers remove the majority of water, leading to quicker drying times. The first hand-cranked wringer washer was patented in 1843 by John E. Turnbull of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. It was a significant innovation in home laundry.
