Chinese Pond-Heron activity shallow in swamps, rice fields, fish ponds, lakes and rivers, in the water and waded walking foraging habitat in the bamboo forest, the woods, the branches, sometimes only three five small group activities. Mainly distributed in Bangladesh to China in to the Southeast Asian region, has some medicinal value, also belong to one of the favorite bird watching.
