Bernhard Mayer (born 1964), Austrian citizen, developed the business strategy of Europolis and headed the investment process of about 50 real estate investments in CEE, leading the fundraising process of three funds. Under his leadership, Europolisââ¬â¢ assets under management rose from less than ââ¬10 million in 1999 to about ââ¬2.0 billion in 2008. During this period, he built up an asset management team from scratch with 6 regional offices (Warsaw, Prague, Budapest, Bucharest, Moscow and Kiev) and positioned Europolis as one of the leading real estate investors and asset managers in CEE. Bernhard is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a Magister in Law from Vienna University.
