Beautiful lateral facade of the Linderhof Palace in Ettal, Bavaria, Germany #341117530
Description
Linderhof Palace is in southwest Bavaria, Germany, near the village of Ettal. It is the smallest of the three palaces built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one which was actually completed and that he lived in most of the time from 1876. Although Linderhof is much smaller than Versailles, it is evident that the palace of the French Sun-King Louis XIV was its inspiration.
