Description
Caesar weed (Urena lobata) also known as Congo jute, is a tender, erect, perennial, ascendant shrub or sub-shrub. It grows as a single stalk that freely sends out bushy stems covered with minute hairs. Leaves also with tiny hairs are palmately lobed (having lobes that spread out like fingers on a hand). Flowers are pink-violet and grow approximately one centimeter in width. Considered as weed its fruits are also hairy and may stick to clothing or fur.
