Seagulls on a house roof at Isle of Bute, Scotland. This is an adult seagull in the foreground, and one of its small chicks is visible in the background. In Rothesay, there is a particular street in the middle of town where hundreds of seagulls live and they come down onto the street itself. Most of them live in a colony on Rothesay castle which is a historic building, but these were on the roof of a house in the Craigmore area. The pair came back year after year.
