Description
Shanghu Lake is named after Jiang Shang (Jiang Ziya), who lived and fished here in seclusion during the late Shang Dynasty. The main water surface covers 800 hectares, with vast misty waves and clear water. It blends with the Ten Mile Yushan Mountain, forming a natural landscape painting. Shanghu Scenic Area is located near Yushan Scenic Area. Legend has it that it was named after Jiang Ziya (named Shang) who went fishing here during the late Yin and Shang dynasties. The current water area is over 800 hectares
