Violeta Beclea-Szekely (born March 26, 1965, Dolhestii Mari common, Suceava County , Romania) is a world-class athlete from Romania , now retired from sports. It was discovered in the fall of 1979 in a school competition , and in 1980 , junior being trained with the national team coach emeritus senior in group Ion Puica. Violeta was the silver medalist in the sample of 1,500 m at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000. The room is European champion and twice bronze medalist in the same competition and is also five times vice world . He ran in samples 800 m, 1,500 m, 3,000 m and cross , which is evidence Balkan champion . Is winning the European Cup three times winning the IAAF Grand Prix Final , and in 2001 defeated all 7 steps of the Golden League and shared with five other athletes 50kg gold at stake by the International Federation of Athletics . In 2001 , nominated fora , entered the fight for the best athlete in the world. He trained with PuicÃÆ Ion Constantin Nourescu , Maricica PuicÃÆ career and in recent years with her husband , Adrian Szekely ( national and Balkan champion in judo ) , with whom he has a daughter who was born in 1996. In 2002 , Violeta Szekely Beclea announced his retirement from sports.
