Violeta Beclea-Szekely (born March 26, 1965, Dolhestii Mari common, Suceava County , Romania) is a world-class athlete from Romania , now retired from sports. It was discovered in the fall of 1979 in a school competition , and in 1980 , junior being trained with the national team coach emeritus senior in group Ion Puica. Violeta was the silver medalist in the sample of 1,500 m at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000. The room is European champion and twice bronze medalist in the same competition and is also five times vice world . He ran in samples 800 m, 1,500 m, 3,000 m and cross , which is evidence Balkan champion .
