Description
Dendrobium chrysotoxum Lindl. is a herbaceous plant of the Dendrobium genus in the Orchidaceae family. The stem is spindle shaped, with many rounded and blunt edges. The leaves are leathery and elongated, and the base does not extend downwards to form a sheath around the stem The inflorescence emits near the stem end, slanting or slightly drooping, with a slight aroma The middle sepal is round in length, the lateral sepals are nearly equal in size to the middle sepals, and the calyx sac is nearly spherical Petals are oblong in shape, equal in length to the sepals and very wide. The lip color is darker, almost kidney shaped circular, larger than the petals, and there are a few red stripes on both sides of the base. The flowering period is from March to May.
