Citadel bastion at night #
Description
Draper's Bastion, placed in the north-east corner of the Brasov citadel, has been builded and defended by the goldsmiths' guild between 1450 and 1455. They have endowed it with bombards from Prague, three small cannons and sixteen harquebuses. In 1640, the strategic defensive point was claimed by the drapers guild. It has been consolidaded between 1961-1962 and reconditioned in 2005. Nowadays there is a plan for it to become a museum.
