Description
The medieval Suevian castle of the Italian town Manfredonia, begun by the Hohenstaufen and completed by the Angevins, and parts of the town walls are well preserved. The castle received a new line of walls in the 15th century. The castle is characterised by its Suevian architecture that derives from its geometric regularity and the linearity of the entire structure.
