Lake Pauh at National Park of Kerinci Seblat #352734177
Description
Lake Pauh was formed as a result of volcanic activity that occurred millions of years ago. The eruption of an ancient volcano near the south side of Mount Masurai formed a crater which was then filled with water and then formed a lake. The material around the lake contains a collection of volcanic breccia tuff rocks consisting of white rocks (tuff) breccia lava and lava containing andesite-basalt. This is evidence that this lake was once a volcano. The area of the lake which is at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level reaches 30 hectares, and a depth of up to 20 meters. With its cool air, Lake Pauh also offers beautiful natural scenery. Around the lake are green trees that are still dense. After the green vegetation, there are community plantations. There are various plants that are cultivated, besides vegetables such as potatoes, cabbage, chilies, spring onions and others, there are also coffee plants, cinnamon, and many more
