When you experience the serene, beauty of winter captured in every frame of my pictures. It's a perfect blend of icy elegance and nature's quiet stillness. Frozen snow falls, blanket our earth coating trees in a delicate layer of frost there branches, bending gracefully under the weight of the snow. Hikers foot prints gently carved through the untouched powder leading into a beautiful winter wonderland, the winter skies are canvases of soft, blues whites they have shimmers of sunlight with breakthrough layers of clouds, casting warm, glows from shifting skies from pale sunlight, blues to dramatic, dark shades of dusk. My winter photos always create a mesmerizing contrast that deepens as the sunsets and brightens as the sun rises. I love taking photos in the snow as it paints the world in a white twilight, whether sunrise or sunset, the crisp, winter air, and the untouched beauty of nature. In the trails I go to always offer moments of peace and tranquility. This to me is the essence of winter.
