Red fronted Serin. Serinus pusillus. It breeds on bare rocky slopes and canyons above the tree line. They usually live and breed in mountainous areas in summer. They feed on various seeds, especially nettle seeds. Like most finches, they also feed on insects and flies during breeding season. They prefer dense forest areas or dense bushes to build their nests.
