Historic Church Tower Onze-Lieve-Vrouwetoren Stock Image

Netherlands, province Utrecht. In the historic city center, downtown, of Amersfoort, there is situated the Notre Dame tower. This late Gothic building dates from 1500. The church was in an explosion late 18th century destroyed. The tower was saved and is nicknamed Long John and is a national monument. This building is a landmark, cultural heritage site and tourist attraction of the town.
