Netherlands, Gelderland Province, city Culemborg: Former Synagogue in the street Jodenkerkstraat from the late nineteenth, 19th, century, built in new-gothic architectural style. Characteristic of this historic church building are the pinnacles and pointed arch windows. Above the main entrance Hebrew text of Isaiah, translated: For my house shall be a house of prayer for all peoples. This historic building is a landmark, cultural heritage site, national monument and tourist attraction. The Jewish community is in World War II almost complete perished in German concentration camps. Today this church is the house of god of the NGK [Dutch Reformed Church].
