Description
Spain , province and city Seville, Andalusia region, just outside the old historic center of Seville, there is the square, plaza de Espana located: the crescent-shaped square is one of the most recognizable city squares in town. In honor of the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929 several buildings were constructed in the Maria Luisa park including the Capitania General, builded by a design of the architect Anibal Gonzalez. The square is shaped like a huge semicircle which is completely surrounded by buildings, which today are used by the government , government buildings. Especially At the bottom of this buildings are 52 frescos on which Spanish provinces are depicted in azulejos [typical Andalusian tiles , colorful tile , ceramic tile]. The plaza is everyday again visited by hordes of tourists [relaxation , recreation, leisure] and is one of the tourist attractions of Seville.
