Cossack Graveyard, Peggetz, Lienz, Austria Stock Image

In Lienz, Austrian East-Tyrol on 1 June 1945, started the repatriation of the Cossacks to Russia. First of all the events that occurred are brought to attention by the Cossack graveyard in Peggetz. In 1983, this memorial place has been newly equipped and it is the central place where the commemorative ceremonies take place annually on June 1.
