Twice Alert Stock Image

Two African Wild Dog (Lycaon pictus) look at the photographer. These dogs were cooling down and playing in the floodplains of the Zambezi river in the late afternoon of a hot day at the end of the dry season. The African Wild Dog is listed as an endangered species by the IUCN. These dogs belong to a pack of 27 dogs including six puppies. Picture taken with a Canon EOS-1D X and EF500mm lens.
